Not all ideas are good ones. In fact, there was plenty of doubt (and maybe a little eye-rolling) when Marc announced he wanted to start a small business making hats.

The timing couldn't have been better... or worse.

Brittany had just given birth to their second daughter, they already had a very energetic two-year-old running around the house, and sleep had become more of a memory than a reality.

The conversation went something like this:

Brittany: "Is this just a mid-life crisis hobby?!"
Marc: (awkward silence)

Fueled by equal parts determination and stubbornness, Marc got to work proving her wrong.

What started as a few custom patch hats made late at night quickly grew into something much bigger. Between feedings, nap schedules, and the occasional cup of coffee (okay... lots of coffee), orders started rolling in. Hats led to laser-engraved gifts and promotional products. Then came custom apparel. Before long, KP had grown from a side project into a business serving schools, small businesses, sports teams, nonprofits, and organizations throughout Wisconsin and beyond.

Today, KP is still a family business, and that's exactly how we like it.
